EMPOWERING WOMEN TO FACE CORPORATE WORLD 

Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell & Women’s Empowerment and Welfare Cell in association with Department of Information Technology & Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Women Empowerment Programme – Empowering Women to face Corporate World on 11.02.2019 at F101 Seminar Hall for the girls. Ms. Harini, Rexona Confidence Academy powered by Hindustan Unilever Limited, Mumbai was the resource person. 

  • DEPARTMENT INAUGURAL-IDEATORS’16: Inaugural Function of Association of Information Technology in presence of Dr. E. Chandra Blessie, CSI Student Branch Counsellor, Coimbatore branch on 12.08.2016.
  • Motivational talk on "Ideas to excel in their career and be a successful Future Entrepreneur" by Mr. M. Vivek Kumar, Founder & CEO, M/s. Natty pangolin Ltd happened on 02.02.2019.
  • CSI CHAPTER INAUGURAL: Inaugural Function of Association of Information Technology in presence of Mr. Vishnu Potty, Chairman, CSI Coimbatore Chapter on 12.08.2016.

  • ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2017 -2018: Inaugural Function of Association of Information Technology in presence of Mr. J. Gokul Kumar, Head, Training and Placement, Pantech Pro Ed Private Limited, Chennai on 21.07.2017
  • Organized a seminar for Youth day celebration “Young India ‘15” by Ms.Maheswari Sarguru, Writer, HR Trainer, Director – Sort and Solve, Coimbatore on 24-01-2015.

  • Department of IT students celebrated Teachers’ day on 5th September 2018. The whole function was planned by Students of IV IT with their juniors. They decided to conduct various fun events and some events kindling the nostalgia of each teacher’s journey of life. The event was started by 2.00 p.m with a welcome note by R. Nivedhiya (IV IT), followed by which we decided to give a tribute to our department by dedicating the CIVIL TROPHY’18 won by our IV IT boy students. Magic box event was the 1st event followed by Paper Pyramid and Water squash. The programme on the whole was hosted by D. Devadharshini and S. Rajeshwari of IV IT. Total number of participants in teacher’s day is 115.Cake cutting ceremony at the last was taken over by our department faculty members headed by our HOD.
  • Around 13 students joined together in creating a short video dedicating for Parent’s Day Celebration on 29.07.2019.
  • Celebrated Teachers Day on 05.09.2019 and conducted many fun games like save the balloon, funny debate where teacher’s and student had wonderful interaction.
  • Celebrated Global Parent’s Day on 29th July 2019 . Students from II, III and IV year utilized this opportunity to thank their parents, who is the pillars of their success. Few students expressed their gratitude to their parent’s. Here is a Video created by our III year students.
  • Teachers Day was celebrated by the students on 05-09-2017.
  • College Level National Handloom Fashion Show – Season 3 happened in presence of Mr. A. Kandavel, Volunteer and V. Sudhakar, Manager, Kovai Makkal Sevai Maiyam and the members from Dream Zone on 02.08.2019.
  • Organized an “Outbound training” to Black Thunder on 02-07-2019. Around 72 members of student community benefited from the training.
