  • The OBT was organized for the students by the department of IT at Black Thunder on 06.03.2020. 37 students from I IT came and participated in the various activities conducted on that day. Ms.S.Rijutha AP/ITand Ms.Gowsalyadevi AP/ Maths accompanied with them and conducted the following activities to the students.
  • The OBT was organized for the students by the department of IT at Black Thunder on 02.07.2019. 23 students from II year, 18 students from III year and 31 students from IV IT came and participated in the various activities conducted on that day. Ms.A.Kowshika and Ms.P.Poovizhi, Ms.S.Rijutha and Ms.S.Prabhavathi, Ms.T.R.Lekhaa and Ms.S.Saranya, Mr.R.Ashok Kumar APs/IT accompanied with them and conducted the following activities to the students./li>
  • Around 8 students of I IT (Sri Ragavi.S, Pooja Rani.M, Sneha.R, Sneha.T, Yuvaranjani.D, JaiShri.S Nivetha.L, Ushabala. R) of I IT went to trekking to “Oodhimalai” through Eco and Trekking Club on 30-11-2019.
  • Around 50 members of student community completed the various programmes as “Enterpreneurship Quiz -2019”, “Moniya Se Mahatma Tak”, “Olympics of Skills or the WorldSkills competition”, “ISRO Space Quiz”, “Hindi” , “Gandhi Smrti and Darshan Smrti”, “Paryatan Parv 2019 Quiz”, “Science Quiz” and “Deciper North East Quiz” organized by MyGov and Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship during August 2019
  • Around 12 students from student community attended the various programmes titled “Decipher North East Quiz”, “Science Quiz”, “Quiz on - How much do you know about the Olympics of Skills or the Worldskills competition?”, “Entrepreneurship Quiz-2019”, and “Paryatan Parv 2019 Quiz” conducted by Ministry of Tourism & MyGov during November 2019.
  • Around 3 students of I IT participated in Constitution and Decipher North East Quiz organized by Dept. of Justice & MyGov Quiz during December 2019.
  • Organized Awareness seminar on “Hackathon” by Mr. G. Aharshraj, MERN Stack Developer, CISCO systems, Bangalore on 21.02.2020. Around 56 members from student community benefited from the session.


  • Organized Career Guidance Programme on ““How to handle unexpected situations in Workplace” by Mr.S.Sengotaiyan and Ms.Divya Bharathi.V, Programmer Analyst, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Coimbatore on 19-02-2019. Around 79 members of student community were benefited from the session.
  • Organized a Motivational speech “To excel in their career and be a successful Future Entrepreneur” by Mr. M. Vivek Kumar, Founder & CEO, M/s. Natty pangolin Ltd on 02-02-2019. Around 58 members of student community benefited from the session.
  • Organized a Women Empowerment programme on “Empowering Women to face Corporate World” by Ms. Harini, Rexona Confidence Academy powered by Hindustan Unilever Limited, Mumbai on 11-02-2019. Around 114 members from student community and 15 members of staff benefited from the session.
  • Organized a Programme on “Drug Free India Campaign” in association with ‘Art of Living’ by Mr.Saravana Prabhu Subramanian, State Youth Coordinators, Drug Free India Campaign on 19-02-2019. Around 288 members of student community benefited from the session.
  • Around 61 members from the student community and 7 members from the faculty members benefited in the International Yoga day on 24-06-2019.
  • Department of IT organized a meditation programme on “How Meditation Improves Attention” for II, III- and IV-year students on 31.12.2018 by Mr. S. Natarajan, Professional Meditation Trainer, AP/ECE. Around 52 students form II, III and IV benefited from the session.


  • Organized an Activity on “Setting the student’s mindset for classroom environment – Motivational Talk & Videos” on 18-12-2017 for II Year and III Year students
  • Organized a programme on “Pornography” on 16-03-2018. Mr.S.Sathiya Sudhan, PRO, Life for All, Coimbatore was the resource person. Around 78 members from student community benefited from the session.
  • I year students attended Heartfulness Meditation Program from organized by Yoga Club for three days from 17-09-2018 to 19-09-2018
  • II, III and IV year students of IT attended the Introductory Sessions of Meditation Programme conducted by Yoga Club of SNS College of Engineering, Coimbatore for three consecutive days from 04-09-2018 to 06-09-2018

  • Organized an awareness programme on “How to lead a Healthy life” by Dr.Rasheeda, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecology, Rao Hospitals, Coimbatore on 03-10-2018. Around 110 members of student community benefited from the session.
  • Organized an Orientation programme for II, III and IV year students in order to enrich the importance of engineering application on 25th and 26th June 2018.
