There
are SIX COMPUTER CENTERS
in the campus, more
than 380 Intel Pentium - Dual Core 2.8 GHz systems
with 17" LCD Monitor installed in a fully Air-Contioned
Computer Centers. The servers are equipped with Altos G540
(2-way server) with XEON 5050 3.0 GHz 2x2M 667FSB (x1),
2 GB DDRII RAM and 160 GB Easy swap 7200 RPM SATAII HDD(x2).
The servers run on LINUX & Windows platform. The entire
campus is networked. |

to this advanced hardware facilities, advanced operating
systems and softwares like Red Hat linux, Windows 2003,
novell, Windows XP, Oracle, IIS, SQL Sever, Java, C, C++,
Visual.net, Adobe Photoshop, Office 2003, Office XP, AutoCAD
2002 are provided to the students through a switched network,
that matches the best in this part of the state. |

students are also allowed to drive information from the internet
with the help of the web server and 100 students can access
internet simultaneously in the campus by using the 2 mbps
RF connectivity. |

ideas of students in the form of mini projects.
- The
simulation lab has been equipped advanced PC's and many
new advanced softwares for simulation purposes along with
internet and intranet facilities.
- The
lab facilities are made available even during break hours
for the students.

Electric
Circuits Laboratory
The
Electric Circuits Laboratory is well equipped with the
equipments like digital function Generator, LCR Meter,
etc.This Laboratory helps the students to understand the
Electric Circuits clearly. Hence the problems in electric
circuits can be solved easily.
Engineering Practice Laboratory
Engineering
practice Lab is equipped with latest Electrical equipments
& accessories to train the students to the level of
industries expectations.
Electrical Machines Laboratory
Electrical
Machines Lab is equipped with DC / AC motors, generators,
Transformers and necessary measuring equipments. Students
are trained by the experienced faculty in operating these
machines and to learn the basics in the very best possible
way.
Electrical Engineering Laboratory
Electrical
Engineering Lab is equipped with latest machinery, equipments
and accessories to train the students to the level of
industry expectations and students are given practice
to operate the machines.

Workshop
The
workshop is well equipped with instruments and models pertaining
to common engineering practices like plumbing, sheet metal,
welding etc. and appliances like air conditioners, pumps
etc. The workshop is so designed to include aspects beyond
the curriculum and to enable the student have a better idea
of general engineering practices of his/her day to day life.

Physics
Laboratory
Physics
lab is well equipped for conducting physics practicals as
prescribed by the Anna University. The major equipments
used in the lab are diode laser kit, ultrasonic interferometer,
optical fibre kit, hysteresis loss kit etc... The lab helps
in strengthening the knowledge of students in applied physics.
It has an area of 250 Sq.m. with a dark room for conducting
light experiments. Well qualified and experienced staff
in the area of research and teaching helps students in strengthening
their knowledge in basic physics and material physics.

Chemistry
Laboratory
The
department of chemistry has impressive range of laboratory.
The lab is aptly equipped to impart education in chemistry
with neatly designed, spacious and well - ventilated laboratory
with granite tables , occupying an area of 250 sq.m. It
is equipped with UV Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer,
Distilled water plant, potentiometer, Digital Conductivity
meter, Oswald viscometer, Electronic, Digital Weighing balances,
pH meters, and Fire extinguisher. The department has highly
qualified and experienced staff members. Efficient staffs
guide students & individual attention is given to students.
Practical
awareness is inculcated and students are trained both quantitatively
and qualitatively during the lab session that enhance their
understanding and helps further to motivate them in taking
projects and proves as a helping hand to do their projects
efficiently. |
Language
Lab
In
order to make students skillful in listening, speaking,
reading and writing skills, students are focused to audio-video
aids. And also they are activated to get practice in all
the four skills in the communication lab. The aim of this
lab is to shower the beauty and power of English language
and to make students fluent in English language.

Emphasizing
more on reading habit, the college provides a library
and a digital library to satisfy the students thirst for
knowledge. Our college is updated with variety of books
and journals related to engineering, science and general.
Online
public access catalogue, E.Gate register facility have
been introduced to save the time of students.
A
collection of 11160 volumes
of books with 3018 titles,
55 National, 51
International Journals and 1000
CD's are placed in a neat gallery, in the library.
Education
books are subscribed for the students benefit. Photo copying
facility is also available in the library, for the students
to utilize whenever it is necessary for them.

college provides hostel facility for both boys and girls.
A well constructed hostel with mess is for girls separately
and for boys too. The hostels for both are placed inside
the campus.

In
the development of an individual’s, physical growth,
physical education is considered to be very important
as education does in the mental growth of an individual.
In our institution physical education is also incorporated
in the curriculum activities.
The
objective of coaching physical education includes getting
the individual to achieve his / her highest competency
in movement skills. Individual and team sports and other
fitness activities are designed by qualified and well
trained faculty in order to develop healthy fitness in
learners.
